Visited the artisan GRP workshop cum studio of Andy Westgate, boss of Westgate Composites, this week and was very impressed with the range of universal products and services he produces and can offer totalkitcar/TKC Mag readers.

Actually there’s a lot more than just glassfibre parts about the business as Andy, based near M4 J13 in Chieveley, Berkshire, can offer a bespoke design, creation and manufacturing service with his skills not just restricted to cars as he regularly also works on aircraft (powered and of the gliding variety) and boats too. In fact, if it involves GRP, he works on it.

Andy’s level of level of skill is very impressive as are his prices.
