CLEAN AND SHINY
Bar Keepers Friend (BKF) is a specialist, natural cleaning range first launched in 1882 that cleans and shines chrome, brass and metal beautifully and has become a firm favourite among discerning car owners.
The product contains a special non-bleach formula based on the unique cleaning power of Oxalic Acid (found in rhubarb, parsley and chives) and when combined with its unique mineral base and surfactant blend, delivers a unique cleaning performance. The acids used in BKF are naturally occurring organic acids and the mineral filler is not only naturally occurring but dug from mountains in Norway.
It removes rust better than other top-selling cleaners or products and makes chrome fixtures shine like new. It’s also great on copper, brass, glass and stainless steel and can be used inside and outside the car. It is not recommended for bodywork.
Bar Keepers Friend comes in the following formats:
The ‘original and best’ Bar Keepers Friend Stain Remover Powder: (250g, RSP: £2.99)
Bar Keepers Friend Power Cream – a superior cream formulation that “cleans where others fail”. (350ml, RSP: £2.99).
Bar Keepers Friend Power Spray (500ml RSP: £2.99).
Bar Keepers Friend removes stubborn stains and cuts through mineral deposits, oil and grease, rust stains and everyday grime giving great results on stainless steel, tile, ceramic, glass, plastic, chrome, brass, copper and many more. BKF cleans and shines stainless steel beautifully, unlike other top-selling cleansers containing chlorine bleach which are not recommended for use on stainless steel.
Simply sprinkle Bar Keepers Friend onto a wet cloth, rub your surface gently, then rinse off. For really stubborn stains, make a past with water, apply, leave for one minute then rinse off.
BKF owes its existence to rhubarb! Back in 1882, a chemist from Indianapolis, noticed how clean and shiny his tarnished pot was after cooking rhubarb. Using an active ingredient that’s found in the plant he made a talcum smooth cleaner and sold it to the city’s taverns. It worked so well that it was called ‘Bar Keepers Friend’!
BKF is available in Robert Dyas, B&Q, Lakeland, John Lewis, Waitrose, independent homeware/hardware stores or online at www.kilrock.co.uk or 01494 793 900 ENDS.
