Latest addition to the Hawk Cars range is this glorious Daytona Coupe replica, a car that Hawk boss, Gerry Hawkridge, has always wanted to make and it, like the original, will be very much aimed at the track.

Body is handcrafted from aluminium and is pretty much nut-for-nut identical to the mid-sixties originals, including the tubular chassis, which like the body is a complete work of art.

Power comes from Ford small block V8, either 289 or 302ci and best not ask Gerry for Chevy or Rover fitments, unless you want short shrift! Gerry only wants to make these in very small numbers, thus ensuring its exclusivity, so there won’t be a glassfibre version.

It will, however, be available in rolling chassis form as well as fully built guise with kit package prices at around £50,000, although this has yet to be confirmed. Turnkey prices will start at £150,000.
