KEEP IT CLEAN
One of the global leaders in high performance automotive surface coating technology has launched a triple action cleaning product to combat bacteria, odours and germs in cars.
Gtechniq, the name behind high-tech paint protection and car care products, has teamed up with BioCote® leaders in anti-microbial technology, to introduce I2 Tri-Clean, an interior cleaner that kills bacteria, and neutralises odours inside a vehicle.
Rob Earle, managing director of Gtechniq, said: “At Gtechniq we’re looking to the future, a future where germs and bacteria will be rife, and antibiotic resistance continues to dominate.
“With drivers spending an average of three full years of their lives in a car, it’s important that we work towards reducing the number of bacteria people are exposed to that may cause illness.”
I2 is a powerful pH neutral cleaner with deep cleansing properties. There is no need to use water, simply spray on a surface and wipe until the area is clean. With added BioCote anti-bacterial technology, the cleaner kills 99.9 per cent of bacteria, ensuring surfaces remain hygienic and fresh, actively reducing the number of microbes present.
Dr Richard Hastings, BioCote technical director, said: “Our technology creates surfaces inhospitable to microbes such as bacteria and mould. When they come into contact with an I2 cleaned surface the technology irreparably damages them and disrupts normal cell functions, this prevents reproduction, which results in the microbes death.”
Ingredients in I2 Tri-Clean include a true odour absorber, not an odour mask, which eliminates tacky residues that attract dirt. I2 Tri-Clean is the first in a range of products Gtechniq is set to reveal over the coming months that clean and protect a car’s interior, making them much safer environments to be in.
The new cleaner is available in 500ml, with an RRP of £12.98. For more information visit www.gtechniq.com ENDS.
