NEW GEAR OIL FROM COMMA
Comma has announced an all-new product, plus significant replacement upgrades to three existing items in its extensive range of 28 gear and transmission oils. Providing additional coverage of 7.4 million cars in the UK, all are covered by Comma’s unique 100 per cent Compatibility & Quality Guarantee and are available from January 18th. Fuel economy Comma MVMTF Plus 75W – the latest introduction – is a low viscosity fully synthetic gear oil for vehicles requiring a 75W API GL-4 lubricant. Supplied in 1L, 5L and 25L pack sizes, it covers 17.6 per cent of all manual transmission applications in the UK.
Replacement Upgrades
The following replacement upgrades extend Comma’s overall applications coverage for manual gearboxes to 84 per cent of the UK’s passenger cars and LCVs. Workshop technicians should note that all three replacement grades have new part numbers and amend their ordering data accordingly.
Available in 1L, 5L and 25L pack sizes, Comma MVMTF Plus 75W90 replaces the discontinued Comma MVMTF 75W90, increasing its applications coverage of manual gearboxes in the UK to 21.4 per cent.
Available in 1L plus new 5L and 25L pack sizes, Comma MVMTF Plus 75W80 replaces the discontinued MVMTF 75W80, increasing its applications coverage of manual gearboxes in the UK to 10.8 per cent.
Available in 1L, 5L plus new 25L and 205L pack sizes, Comma EP75W80 Plus replaces the discontinued Comma EP75W80, increasing its applications coverage of manual gearboxes in the UK to 18.2 per cent.
