Avatar Sports Cars, the track and race division of Marlin Sports Cars, of course displayed their new Roadster at last weekend’s Autosport International show and for me it was the star of the whole event. It was great to see them exhibiting there.

They are limiting the car to a run of fifty to ensure exclusivity and the very pretty two-seater is available with a choice of two Ford EcoBoost engines, the 2-litre delivering a not exactly shabby 250bhp and the top of the range 2.3-litre version producing 350bhp.

Weighing in at just 695kg we’re talking 360bhp per tonne and 500bhp per tonne respectively so performance is going to be pleasing to say the least.
