TOP END GOODNESS
Summit Racing offers three Speedmaster Top End Kits for first-generation Chevy small blocks. They all include a pair of pre-assembled aluminium cylinder heads, an intake manifold, aluminium roller rocker arms, and cast aluminium valve covers.
The Street Series kits have cylinder heads with 195cc intake runners, 64cc combustion chambers, 2.02/1.60in valves, and 1.450in dual valve springs rated to .550in of valve lift. The intake manifold is a LowRise dual plane. The kits are for flat tappet camshafts only.
The SuperStreet Series kits feature cylinder heads with 190cc intake runners, 64cc combustion chambers, 2.02/1.60in valves, and 1.450in dual valve springs rated to .580in of valve lift. They also include a MidRise dual plane intake manifold with integral nitrous bosses and four-corner water ports.
The Outlaw Series kits have the same cylinder heads as the SuperStreet kits but come with a MidRise Air air-gap dual plane intake.
