I use a lot of different car care products and tend to have a go-to list made up of favourite products from a variety of manufacturers.

However, there are specific ranges that I solely use when I am a doing a deep clean on one of my own cars or that of a family member or friend. Car Pro UK is one such range and there are about ten or so of those products that I use religiously in such circumstances.

Car Pro is a South Korean brand but their UK range contains some specific products designed for our market and climate conditions.

When I have a heavily soiled car to deal with I start off with their Iron-X Snow Soap, which contains the best elements of their Iron-X Fall Iron Fallout Remover adding a degreaser and a shampoo to the formula.

This is a new improved formula is pH neutral so safe for all paintwork, metal, glass, plastic and rubber. Most effectively used as a pre-wash for traffic film, grime, dirt, with light brake dust/contaminant removal qualities as well. A 500ml bottle costs just £11.99.

Talking of their Iron-X Fallout Remover, I favour the cherry-scent variant, but trust me it still doesn’t smell very nice but it does work superbly.

It is an acid-free and pH-balanced (6~7pH) car paint, wheels and glass cleaner (safe for all wheels including aluminium/chrome/anodised and alloys). This formulation is also effective and safe for use on all car surfaces and will not deteriorate clear coats. This preventative measure puts a stop to corrosion and Iron-X contains unique chemical ingredients that effectively dissolves the sintered iron by forming a water-soluble iron complex. A 500ml bottle costs £9.95.

Hydro2 Spray & Rinse Coating is one I really like and is an incredibly easy to use, effective, TRUE WIPE-LESS spray sealant. CarPro HydrO2 is formulated with hydrophilic glass fibres, silicon polymers, and fluoro-polymers and can be applied to all vehicle surfaces. A 500ml bottle costs £13.

A related product is Hydro2 Lite, which is a versatile spray sealant that can also be used as a quick detailer, or after every time you wash. Easy to use in almost any environment. Use it as a wipe-less sealant or simply spray on and buff off. A 500ml bottle costs £16.99.

Those are just some of my favourites although I must just mention the best drying towel in the business, the Fat Boa XL, a whopper at 70cm x 80cm and worth every penny of the £19.99 asking price.

Various outlets in the UK sell Car Pro products but the main one is Slim’s Detailing and you can find out more by visiting https://www.slimsdetailing.co.uk/carpro.html?p=2 or by calling 0333 222 9944 ENDS.
