‘WIDE FIVE’ BRM-STYLE
This style of wheel is one of my favourites although the original BRM wheels were produced from magnesium and now swap hands for thousands of pounds each.
Heritage Parts Centre has captured the real look of the seventies once again with their own tribute to this iconic wheel.
Rather than magnesium, this version is produced from alloy although they retain the ‘wide five’ stud pattern and are available in 5 x 15in sizes with a more user-friendly offset of ET14.
They come in a matt black finish highlighted in silver. I think they’d look great on a variety of kitcars particularly if they are based on VW Beetle. Part number AC601002BM and prices start at £97.95 each.
