YB COOLING HELPER!
The Cosworth YB Engine has two thermostat/water housings that are comprised of an unusually complex rear section to house the thermostat and a front section that connects to the radiator bottom hose.
These castings can corrode and degrade over time, especially if the coolant has been neglected. Fortunately, Burton Power can supply replacements for both sections to bring the system back to prime condition.
The Front Section Connector (with plug) can be ordered as part number SC1074 at £38.50 inc VAT and the Rear Section Thermostat/Water Housing can be ordered as part number SC1073 at £60 inc VAT.
These housings are suitable for:
• Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth 4wd 1990-1992
• Ford Escort RS Cosworth 4wd T34 1992-06/1994
• Ford Escort RS Cosworth 4wd T25 06/1994-1996
