UP THE CREEK WITH A PADDLE
As an official Helix dealer, Burton Power now has stocks of the Helix Five Paddle Clutch Kit for Ford Cosworth YB 16v Turbo 4wd applications.
The clutch features Cerametallic Paddle Drive plates that have cerametallic segments riveted onto a steel backplate.
These segments are thicker than the sintered type to provide higher heat tolerance and have improved heat dissipation where a greater level of clutch slip is required.
This design is mainly targeted at high-energy competition applications used in rally and race use, especially endurance, but the inclusion of damper springs to cushion the impact of clutch engagement on the driveline components make this kit suitable for road use too.
The kit includes – clutch cover assembly, five paddle driven plate and a release bearing.
