BOOM BANG
Milltek Sport, the premium performance exhaust specialist, is returning to Goodwood Festival of Speed with a high-performance-themed display that looks fantastic and sounds even better.
Each highly individualised vehicle on their stand is fitted with one of the long-established UK company’s renowned stainless steel exhaust systems, which complements other tuning and styling enhancements from Milltek Sport’s various partners in the performance aftermarket.
While INEOS will be showcasing new models at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Milltek Sport will also be unveiling what it believes to be the UK’s first modified INEOS Grenadier, featuring the prototype of the company’s first-to-market new particulate filter-back performance system. Other modifications to the 280+ bhp six-cylinder off-roader include Urban Automotive Rock Slider Side Steps, Black Rhino 17in alloy wheels and a plethora of additional Lazer lights on the grille, bonnet and roof.
The off-road and prestige theme continues with one of Milltek Sport’s latest demonstration vehicles – a Range Rover P530 4.4-litre V8 Autobiography. Producing circa 530bhp, the 2023 model features a Milltek Sport OBF/GPF-back exhaust system with active ‘H’ centre section and the Milltek Sport Active Suspension Control System. Its stunning Santorini Black paint is complemented with the addition of Urban Automotive body styling, 24-inch alloy wheels and side steps.
A duo of acclaimed high-performance models complete Milltek Sport’s show car line-up, comprising of the company’s own BMW M3 Touring demonstrator and a unique wide-body Toyota GR Yaris producing over 300bhp.
After the official unveiling of the 510bhp BMW M3 Touring at last year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, Milltek Sport has been quick to make its striking Isle of Man Green 2023 example one of the first to be modified in the UK.
As well as fitting its own particulate filter-back system with brushed titanium tips and Sport Active Valve Control System, Milltek Sport has added adjustable MSS suspension, a RamAir carbon induction kit, two-piece EBC brake discs and RPX Motorsport pads all round, AUTOID carbon fibre body styling and Rotiform KPS Mono Block alloy wheels.
The GR Yaris is one of the most popular Milltek Sport applications, and the car on the Milltek Sport stand is amongst the UK’s most modified examples. Built by Auto Finesse, it features a Milltek Sport GPF-back exhaust system with custom titanium tips, As well as the custom wide-body kit, its extensive upgrades include adjustable KW Clubsport suspension, DTE Systems tuning box, HKS front-mount intercooler and Recaro SPG fixed bucket seats.
Complementing the quartet of show cars on the Milltek Sport stand are several display systems that illustrate the broad spectrum of its performance exhaust range, which spans specialised titanium versions to its unobtrusive and enhanced OEM+ systems that are designed for ‘80s and ‘90s performance icons.
Steve Pound, Managing Director, Milltek Sport, said: “We are delighted to be back at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It’s a must-attend event for us and, with this year being our 40th anniversary, we’ve pulled out all the stops to put on a great display. We’re looking forward to catching up with new and existing customers and once again demonstrating to visitors our longstanding exhaust expertise and how our systems can enhance the performance, aesthetics and, most importantly, the sound of their cars.”
