It was great to see MACG Racing at the recent Newark Kit Car Festival. The Derbyshire-based company are a motorsport race team, engineering company and performance parts supplier.

They specialise in racecar builds and race prep, engine builds, sales of performance parts and offer a suspension set-up service.

At Newark, they displayed products from some of the brands they represent. They are the main distributors for Albins transmissions, Braid wheels, Drenth gearboxes, Antigravity batteries, Cobra Sport Exhausts and Zircotec heatshields to name a few. They had plenty of examples of the products on display at Newark.

On the race front, they are an endurance racing specialist in a range of championships including the British Endurance Championship, also offering ‘arrive and drive’ packages. Their works cars include their Ultima-derived Taranis (on display at Newark), Mazda RX87 FD and Ginetta G55 GT4,
