Most caliper piston spreaders are designed for OEM-type single- or dual-piston calipers. The Frozen Rotors spreader is designed just for high-performance four- and six-piston calipers.
The tool first spreads the pads, then evenly retracts the pistons back into the bores with one squeeze of the levers.
The Frozen Rotors caliper piston spreader is easy to use. The spreading plates fit one way for six-piston calipers; for four-piston calipers, just turn the tool 90 degrees. The amount of throw is adjustable using one of three settings on the outside plate.
The Frozen Rotors caliper piston spreader is made from steel and is powdercoated for durability. The slider is cadmium plated, and the pivot bushings are made from nylon to ensure smooth action.
