FAST ROAD ZETEC CAMS FROM KENT CAMS
Plenty of Ford Zetec Silver Tops with hydraulic lifters powering kitcars be they 1.8- or 2-litre. Crikey, I wouldn’t like to hazard a guess at just how many! If you are looking to add a bit of oomph to yours, Kent Cams has just launched their ‘Fast Road’ cams for the Zetec Silver Top.
They will give a real hike to your engine between 1500-2500rpm with the added benefit that you won’t need to touch your cylinder head.
The kit costs £894.95 and includes the camshafts (obvs!), followers and lube. You can separately add heavy-duty valve springs (£205 per set) and/or adjustable pulleys (£261.95), if you want to go the extra mile.
