When restoring a classic Mini or a kitcar based on same (there are thousands!) it’s amazing how many tiny parts can catch you out if you haven’t obtained them before starting work.
One such item is the long locating pin, used to position the retainer 22G1434 which holds a rod change gearlever in place in the alloy housing. This is one of the two pins required: a long one and a short one.
Thankfully this little part is once again available from Mini Spares.
