3J CAN REBUILD AND REPAIR IT
3J Driveline has announced the launch of its in-house transmission reconditioning, servicing, build and installation facility. Having now established a range of high quality transmission products, 3J Driveline has invested heavily in staff and tooling to enable it to offer a fitting service for any of the parts that it produces.
Dan Jones, MD of 3J Driveline, said: “By offering this new in-house service, it means that our customers will now be able to have their 3J parts installed by an experienced drivetrain technician. Each build will come with its own unique 3J assembly number, meaning it will have full history and traceability.
“All units will be tested before strip-down and after completion on our unique in-house-built test rig, to ensure the highest levels of quality control. Our quality already speaks for itself as we are probably the biggest suppliers of reconditioned Type-9 gearboxes in the country, with Frontline Developments, Moss and Westfield being some of our many customers.”
In addition to this, 3J has also invested in the tooling and staff to enable it to service and re-condition almost any transmission product on the market; from a standard diff re-build through to the installation of another manufacturer’s products.
Dan added: “This was naturally the next phase for the company, and being able to offer these services means we can now do anything from installing one of our kits into a Ford 2000E gearbox, to a complete build on an Atlas axle, as well as a full re-build and re-conditioning service on any standard transmission components.”
