XCS MAKE PROGRESS
Harvey Rice has hit the ground running since acquiring the excellent XCS 427 Cobra replica and has reported very good interest in the Gary Sanders/Peter Walker-designed car.
The two former (long-serving) DJ Sportscars men remain involved with the XCS project in an advisory role meaning that Harvey can concentrate on re-establishing this fine take on the Cobra replica theme, which utilises GM LS V8 power.
Perhaps central to the car’s many acclaimed attributes has been its use of the patented Walker-designed ‘Camber Compensation & Anti-Roll’ suspension system at both front and rear.
Harvey has big plans for the project moving forward but has already unveiled his new round-tube chassis option. It impressed many people at the recent Stoneleigh kitcar show as did the company’s general approach.
Rice has been building kitcars for many years and under his HR Engineering banner has also built some superb modified Volkswagens, many of them magazine featured.
