Laser Tools is excited to announce their new professional workshop ‘one battery powers all’ cordless tool range. All the tools in the range feature brushless motor technology designed and built for daily use; efficient electronics manage an array of power requirements across the range using one common battery. The battery delivers cleaner, more consistent power, lasts longer and delivers more run-time in the harshest jobsite conditions
There are five professional power tools in the range: the angle grinder, the impact drill, the impact screwdriver, the impact wrench and the professional bodyshop polisher. They are provided in a kit that includes two batteries and battery charger, all supplied in a sturdy heavy duty toolbag that features internal and external tool pockets, carrying handles and shoulder strap. Angle grinder kit: (part number 68010), impact drill kit: (part number 68011), impact screwdriver kit: (part number 68012), impact wrench kit (part number 68013) and the polisher kit (part number 68073).
The angle grinder features a compact design with comfortable grip and is supplied with a robust side handle and soft-grip body for added control. Spindle lock for quick disc changes and fully adjustable disc guard. Equipped with metal gears within a steel gear casing with an M14 spindle for use with 115mm grinding or cutting discs. The no load speed is 8000 RPM and the weight with battery is 2.2kg.
The dual-speed impact drill is a compact design supplied with soft-grip body for added control. It features a keyless chuck, and can be set to drill, screw or hammer-drill function. There are two speeds, selected by a switch on top of the drill; the trigger offers control from zero to the stated speed (1 or 2). Forward and reverse. Sturdy belt clip attached to drill. An optional High-Torque Handle is also available (part number 8074) which gives added control and accuracy when drilling high-torque applications.
The impact screwdriver also has a soft-grip body for added control. It features a quick-release bit holder, and sturdy belt clip attached to the drill. There are three torque settings, plus a fourth setting that automatically adjusts the speed to suit the torque required.
The impact wrench features a variable speed trigger and forward and reverse settings. There are three torque settings, plus a fourth setting that enables a self-stop function when used in reverse that prevents the nut or fixing spinning off and falling. There is also sturdy belt clip attached to the body of the impact wrench.
The cordless polisher is supplied with a robust ‘D’ shaped handle and soft-grip body for added control. Spindle lock for quick polishing pad changes. M14 spindle for use with 180mm (or smaller) polishing pads. Adjustable speed control (800 – 2400 RPM). This is a beautifully balanced tool and is a pleasure to use in the professional bodyshop.
Additionally, the tools are available separately, without batteries: angle grinder (part number 8010), impact drill (part number 8011), impact screwdriver (part number 8012), impact wrench (part number 8013) and the polisher (part number 8073). The battery and charger are also available separately: the 230V (4 Amp) battery charger (part number 8008 – UK plug and part number 8009 – Euro plug) is used with the 10-cell lithium battery (part number 8007). Features include diagnostic LED plus built-in protection against overheating and overcharging. CE and ROHS approved. Average charge time: 1 hour. Battery discharge time approximately 40min – 115min, depending on tool and usage. The useful heavy duty toolbag is separately available under part number 7846.
