More news on the resurrection of the Westfield and Chesil brands this week.

After Westfield Chesil boss, Dr Nigel Trilk announced that the company will be moving from Kingswinford to Bicester, Oxfordshire more details have emerged this week.

Nigel has entered into an arrangement with classic car restoration company, ‘Project Shop’ of Bicester who will be acting as build agents and as the sales outlet for both marques.

Project Shop, Simeon Cattle said: “We are delighted to announce that we have entered into a partnership with Westfield Chesil to help them with their relocation to Bicester, help rebuild the brands and build their factory cars in our ‘E10’ unit.

“We will continue to serve our valued existing customers from our service and maintenance workshop in E4 Telford Road.

The team will stay the same under the everyday control of Steve Clark, who is now in his second year as workshop manager.”

Although a relatively ‘young’ company Project Shop has gained a great reputation for the quality of their work. They can offer a full range of services from maintenance work, repairs and upgrades right through to more detailed work such as upholstery, engine builds, auto electrics and a full classic car recommissioning service.

While Simeon will continue to own and be involved in the Project Shop business he has also been appointed as General Manager at Westfield Chesil.

Steve Clark added: “We look forward to inviting everyone to the workshop and to Westfield Chesil’s new parts and R&D building in Arkwright Road, Bicester early in the new year.
