NEW ECOBAT WEBSITE
With its sights firmly set on thousands of UK customers, Ecobat Battery, the UK’s largest battery distributor, has redesigned its website to not only reflect the enormous depth of products it supplies but also the power storage-related knowledge and expertise the organisation holds.
In addition to the primary task of identifying the correct solution to their needs, fundamental to its design was to provide users with an intuitive site, that is easy to navigate and quickly yields the information they need to make the right purchasing decision, for any particular power storage need.
Commenting as the site officially went live, Managing Director of Ecobat Battery & Logistics Europe, Russel McBurnie said: “We believe that our new website will not only streamline the customer experience, but also reinforce our commitment to excellence and innovation in the battery industry.”
Picking up on the theme of innovation, just one look at the new site reveals how the battery market has developed from the relative confines of the needs of the automotive sector, to embrace not only products for complementary segments such as commercial vehicles, agricultural, motorcycle and mobility applications, but also the leisure market and the requirements of golf, equestrian, marine and caravan/motorhome enthusiasts, as examples.
However, the list of applications doesn’t stop there, as it also demonstrates the reach of power storage solutions in the industrial and logistics markets, as well as the growing need for reserve power for both domestic and industrial buildings, for use either internally or to be sold back to the grid.
“It was essential that the website reflect the growing list of potential power storage applications and the many brands and products that we can call upon to ensure we can provide users with the most suitable solution to their individual needs,” McBurnie continued. “So, the site is designed to allow them to identify this solution through either browsing the sector it sits within – aviation, horticulture, industrial, rail, solar systems etc. – or by brand – EcoFlow, Lucas, Odyssey or US Battery, as examples – if they have a particular preference.”
The depth of information contained within the site is not simply limited to brands and sectors however, rather is allows users to find resources such as leaflets and promotional material that can be downloaded, information concerning service and rental agreements, and details of developments such as solar power generation and technical guidance.
“One of the elements that will be most used will be the Battery Finder, an innovative tool that allows users to simply input their vehicle registration plate to promptly identify the exact battery needed for any car, thus ensuring a hassle-free solution to an often troublesome process,” McBurnie enthused.
In addition to all this information, there are also details of Ecobat Battery’s extensive branch network, which extends from Glasgow in the north to Fareham in the south and Witham in the east, to Portlaoise, ROI in the west, as well as those on the European mainland.
