TWINK COVERED
Jun 10th
The Burton Power modular cover and water pump kit for the Lotus Twin Cam enables the water pump components to be easily removed without disturbing the front cover or the sump.
The water pump components are assembled into a module which can then be inserted into the front cover housing and retained with three socket cap screws. This saves a huge amount of time when replacing the water pump seals and bearings and saves unnecessary costs in replacing oil and gaskets.
The package includes the water pump module and both front and rear covers. It is suitable for a standard height original More >

With the use of cordless drills and powered screwdrivers, and with such a large selection of bits available, driving screws has never been easier. However, what if you can’t actually get a straight drive onto the screw?

New from Summit Racing are these ECU Pin Terminal Crimpers.
The crimpers are designed to make the perfect crimp on the open barrel and pin connectors commonly used in modern wiring harnesses.
The crimpers ratchet close, then automatically release when the selected force is reached. The force can be adjusted via a set screw and dial on the handle. They feature padded handles and have diecast jaws that work on terminals from 14-22 gauge.

BEST BE SAFE
Jun 10th
You want a good, sturdy wing cover that will prevent scratching or scuffs on car bodywork while working on the vehicle. Magnetic types are popular but they won’t work on aluminium or glassfibre bodywork and if you don’t keep them scrupulously clean they can pick up fine metal particles which may damage the paint! This new sand-bag type wing cover from Laser Tools (part number 8039) solves these problems.
Manufactured from heavy leather-look vinyl, the weighted edges ensure the cover remains in place while the felt backing protects the paintwork. Generously sized at 1200mm x 550mm. Suitable for all vehicles and More >
PLEASE DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE.
Jun 10th
Drink-drive is back on the agenda as the weather hots up and social activity resumes, with BBQs in the back garden and visits to the pub. June is traditionally the second biggest month for roadside breath tests.
Staycations will mean people driving more while on holiday in the UK this summer and sports venues are re-opening their gates for live events as well – so motorists are more likely to unintentionally drink-drive the morning after socialising, posing a risk to themselves and other road users.
Alcohol consumption also rose during lockdown. In a recent poll carried out by AlcoSense Breathalysers, 44 per cent of More >
NEW ARRIVAL – AN AARDVARK!

ARL has announced a new model due for launch this summer. The SP-1 will be offered alongside the existing GT-R model.
The new one is described as a significant evolution of the GT-R, which has been created to deliver a more track-focused car with updated styling. The approach taken for development was to question each component of the car and look at how it can be improved to make it faster around a lap and, of course, easier to assemble.
The all-new bodywork has a lower frontal area for less drag in addition to integrated alignment features to make it easy to More >

UNDER PRESSURE
Jun 3rd
Ensuring that the fuel pressure is set correctly is always the first step taken when tuning carburettors or diagnosing fuelling faults. It is therefore vital that the gauge used is as accurate as possible.
The new fuel pressure gauges from Webcon are superb quality, fluid-filled gauges that register precise measurement of fuel pressure on either carburettor or EFI systems.
The gauges are supplied with a 1/8in NPT thread to allow easy fitment to either an inline adaptor or a Filter King style regulator.
Webcon fuel pressure gauges are branded with the Webcon logo to prevent confusion with poor quality alternatives and are available More >
