More >CLEAN FUEL EVERY TIME
Mar 24th
Keeping fuel clean without unduly restricting flow and pressure is a tough trick, but one that FUELAB seems to have mastered.
Take its line of inline fuel filters as an example. All are machined from billet aluminium with machined internal radii for minimal pressure drop. The filters are available with a choice of filter elements.
The six-micron glassfibre element is compatible with all petrol, diesel and race fuels except nitro-methane and is recommended for carb and fuel injected engines running E85 or methanol. It’s recommended for filters located after the fuel pump.
The 10-micron paper element is perfect for carb and fuel injected engines running pump fuel, More >

Since then, and through many further innovations, Castrol oils have lubricated the beating heart of everything from speed records to Mars missions.
Interestingly, Castrol was the first company of its kind to promote its products through sponsorship, which swiftly led to advertising and merchandising. By 1946, when the iconic Castrol Classic branding was launched, Castrol offered a wide range of workshop More >
BIG BORES ARE GREAT!
Mar 17th
A performance (big bore) air-cooled VW engine is a special thing, but to make sure all your horses make it from the flywheel through to the tyres, you’ll need a decent clutch to handle the transfer.
There are two forces required for your clutch to run smoothly. Friction is handled by the clutch plate that rotates on the gearbox input shaft. The second is pressure, which is handled by the pressure plate (operated by the release bearing on the clutch fork) which is bolted to the flywheel.
By fitting a performance pressure plate additional power and torque can be transferred more efficiently More >
