It is height-adjustable and intended to span the width of the transmission tunnel. You can mount it by drilling holes through the end bolting or you can weld some brackets to your tunnel and use them to pick up on the cross-member’s bolt holes.

PINTO PULLEYS

Burton’s Alternator/Water Pump Drive Kit is a vast improvement on the standard pulley arrangement on the Ford SOHC Pinto engine.

The Burton Power kit contains three aluminium pulleys, a drive belt and an adjustable tensioner as well as a locating bolt.

The conversion uses a multi-ribbed Poly V belt (5PK) with a greater surface area than the original item.

The pulley is designed to fit a 15mm diameter shaft but can be modified to suit 17mm shafts. The adjustable tensioner features spherical ends for improved belt tensioning.
