I’m loving the packaging that Lancashire-based car care company Akira Brand uses on their products while their smells and bright colours appeal to me too.

Mint Classic is a young car care brand but one that really has found a niche within the classic car market with quality products at a great price.
I tried their Wheel Cleaner recently, which had been recommended to me and although a crowded market there are some really rubbish products out there. I’m a really big fan of the pump sprayers produced by Marolex. I’ve been the happy owner of their Ergo sprayer and an Axel 3000 foamer and they play a large part in my detailing regime.

There are plenty of waxes that promise to give your car a butter wet or mirror-like finish.
Most of them hail from America and some of them are really very good indeed. However, it’s good to be able to report on a UK car care brand offering such a product.
The wax in question is from Autobrite Direct and their brilliantly named Carbanuba banana-scented wet-look wax. The smell could well be nearly as a good as the wax!
