HALFORDS READY SALTED

Halfords has launched a ONE METRE long stick of salt, which can rapidly thaw ice and melt snow ahead of the freezing weather.
The giant Winter Wizard Salt Stick costs just £3.50 and can cover 60 square metres.
The monster stick works like shake ‘n’ vac and home-owners and motorists just need to shake their stick and spread the salt over the affected area. It claims to work ten times faster than rock salt and can be used on steps, driveways, paths and car parks.

This new combined brake disc and tyre tread depth gauge from Laser Tools (part number 7635) is worth a look. It’s a lightweight Vernier-style measuring tool that offers quick and accurate readings and its compact size allows for access in tight spaces.
