RALLY DESIGN GET RAMPED-UP!
May 30th
To accurately measure caster angle you need to rotate the wheels 15- or 20-degrees, in either direction. This is best achieved by positioning the wheels on angular graduated turntables.
Rally Design has previously sold many pairs of turntables manufactured in steel, weighing in at about 62kg, but their new design in aluminium is more manageable, weighing in at only 20kg.
The capacity remains the same, however at 2-tonnes per wheel and even the price is the same at £167.80 inc VAT per pair. The kit includes drive-up steel ramps to assist loading.

More >CLEAN UP TIME
May 30th
Laser Tools has just introduced two innovative workshop blow guns specifically designed for valeting and cleaning chores.
First up is the Turbo Pulse Blow Gun (part number 7474) and this new design of blowgun is the perfect tool for the valeter with an eye for detail. It has a strong turbo vortex which is pulsed directly through the rotating head. This rotates on a continuous 360-degree spin, which lifts and blows dirt and dust out of every nook and cranny. Perfect for car interiors and upholstery. Very impressive when it quickly removes stubbornly entwined pet hairs from non-woven vehicle interior fabrics.

XCS MAKE PROGRESS
May 23rd
Harvey Rice has hit the ground running since acquiring the excellent XCS 427 Cobra replica and has reported very good interest in the Gary Sanders/Peter Walker-designed car.
The two former (long-serving) DJ Sportscars men remain involved with the XCS project in an advisory role meaning that Harvey can concentrate on re-establishing this fine take on the Cobra replica theme, which utilises GM LS V8 power.
Perhaps central to the car’s many acclaimed attributes has been its use of the patented Walker-designed ‘Camber Compensation & Anti-Roll’ suspension system at both front and rear.
