Classic and kitcars can be easy prey for car thieves. That’s why Moss has now introduced the Classic Tracker and Immobiliser – a secure and reliable tracking service specifically for classic cars, kitcars and motorcycles!
A hidden self-install tracker uses GPS & GSM to establish and maintain the secure-status of your car. In the event of any unauthorised movement or tampering, you receive simultaneous SMS and email alerts and have access to real-time information on an app or the web that allows you to track movement of the vehicle on a moving map.

TO THE VICTOR GO THE SPOILS. MEET THE WINNERS DETAILING RANGE.
Aug 24th
Colin at Killer Brands does a great job with a wide range of car detailing and related products, some of which he imports from the States. However, lurking within the line-up are a couple of own brand products including the Winners Detailing range.
Priced at the budget end of the market nevertheless, the range belies its humble pricing and offers a strong level of value for money. I was asked to try their Winners Carnauba Paste Wax (containing 60 per cent Brazilian carnauba) and was extremely impressed.

B-G Racing has drawn on its extensive race experience and introduced a pair of universal wide-angle mirrors that are perfect for kitcar use given that rear view can be iffy. The convex glass provides a wide field of vision to give you the best view of what’s behind you.
The mirrors simply fasten to a rollcage using the bolt-on brackets provided for a secure fitment that will not vibrate loose. All brackets are slotted to provide a wide range of adjustment and are secured to the mirror using two wing knobs that allow for simple adjustment by hand.

COOLING AN ISSUE IN HOT WEATHER? GIVE THIS STUFF A TRY
Aug 24th
The summer in the UK might be short but the hot weather can certainly do some damage to your vehicle’s engine if you don’t keep your cooling system in good shape.
Fortunately, the solution is simple. Just add a bottle of DEI Radiator Relief™ to your coolant and your vehicle’s operating temperature will be reduced by up to 30°F the maker’s claim. (16.66° Celsius).
Engine wear will be minimised, the temperature gauge needle will stay away from the red section when sitting in summer traffic jams and you won’t be bothered by an overheating radiator ruining your day out.

Specialist car design studio, Rook Design has been busy working on their Diamondback rendering, based around MX-5, although it has now been re-named, Wraith. Several versions of the car are being considered, the 1.1, which has a Cobra-style front-end and 250-style rear, based on Mazda MX-5 Mk3, while V1.2 uses the MX-5 Mk2 as donor and a more exotic Italian look.
The company’s HK1 has also been re-named and is now known as the Ghost.

ONE STOP CAR CARE SHOP
Aug 16th
Slim’s Detailing is one of my favourite outlets for car care stuff, with no fewer than 48 brands stocked including Britemax, Poorboy’s World, Menzerna, GTechniq and CarPro, while they are also main distributors for Chemical Guys, Presta, InstaFinish, Malco and Wolfgang.
Whenever I go to the US I spend far too much time in the many car care stores, which are my idea of a toy-shop. They do these types of retail outlets well in the States, but they aren’t so well-known here in the UK.
Well, Slim’s Detailing has a shop to rival the best American outlets and when I’m in More >
