IT’S A SCREAMER FROM TILLETT
Mar 1st
Any new seat from Tillett Racing is big news and their new Screamer B6 is no different.
Obviously, the Sittingbourne manufacturer is best-known for their karting and motorsport exploits and plenty of future champions have been sitting comfortably in Tillett seats.
Due to their very nature, therefore, they are also ideal for the often tighter confines of kitcar cockpits although the Screamer B6 is FIA-homologated to the 8855-1000 standard and replace the popular B6F.
It is made using Tillett’s new process, which gives increased strength with a 20 per cent reduction in weight. More information from www.tillett.co.uk or 01795 420 312 ENDS.
More >VERY STYLISH VENT
Feb 21st
Crikey Barry Perman is a bit of a hero when it comes to body styling kits. He founded and still runs, Zeemax in Norfolk and is well-known for his work designing kits for Classic Mini and BMW E30 M3s although he offers designs for other cars such as Porsche 911, too.
The latest creation from Zeemax is an air extraction vent that can also be used solely for cosmetic purposes and to these eyes looks very good and I can see them gracing a few kitcars.
They are supplied in black gelcoat and come with mesh and a template for fitting. They More >
FOAM FOAM AND MORE FOAM
Feb 21st
One of my favourite car care companies is Staffordshire-based Autobrite Direct, run by Mark Moss.
Just lately I was after a ‘snow foam cannon’ attachment for my pressure washer – not big nor clever, but there is something remarkably satisfying about completely covering your car in thick foam – as the cleaning benefits of using one really do help with the washing process.
There are lots available on the market and prices vary enormously. As I did my research though, Autobrite’s Heavy Duty Foam Lance was repeatedly mentioned being one of the best.
Therefore, I ordered one and initial tests show it to More >

HE WAS MY FAVOURITE BOND ACTOR
Feb 21st
Made in the USA and inspired by the dashboard display of the classic Lotus Esprit that James Bond (Roger Moore) drove in the 1977 film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’, these digital gauges from Intellitronix are decidedly cool.
Each gauge features a built-in microprocessor to precisely measure functions like air/fuel ratios, oil pressure, water temperature, voltage, fuel level, and transmission temperature.
Extra bright LED lights and bar graph displays make reading the gauges easy on the eyes with clearly visible data that won’t distract you while driving.
The 2 1/16in diameter gauges come in a variety of vivid colours. Choose from torch red, More >
TRIGGER’S BROOM!

Loads of these used on kitcars over the years…
The classic Mini’s cheeky character has long inspired owners to put their own stamp on their car respective cars, which goes a long way towards explaining why Mountney’s range contains so many Mini-orientated products.
The firm’s wing/door mirrors are merely one of the latest examples of its longstanding commitment to Oxford’s most famous offering then, though they look set to be one of the most popular thanks to their stunning chrome on brass finish and classic, ‘bullet’ appearance. Their design ensures that they’ll suit the Mini’s mid-20th Century styling perfectly, no matter whether the More >
NO PRESSURE
Feb 21st
With correct tyre pressures, vehicles save fuel, produce fewer emissions and are safer. This is why manufacturers are now fitting Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) and the professional tyre technician needs the correct tools to maintain, service and repair these systems.
New to the Laser Tools range is this comprehensive TPMS torque wrench and socket set (part number 6935) that contains the tools required to correctly mount the TPMS sensor to the wheel rim.
The ¼in drive torque wrench is rated at 2-10Nm and is used to tighten the sensor valve nuts to the manufacturer’s recommended torque. It is a high-quality instrument More >
