Latest Atom from Ariel Motor Company is the bonkers 4R. Looking very aggressive yet clearly an Atom the new one packs a 400bhp punch courtesy of its Honda 2-litre VTEC engine.

Burton Power is now offering the Quaife Quickshift Gear Lever for Ford’s Type 9 five-speed gearbox as used in many thousands of Fords and Ford-based kitcars, of course.
This gearbox was also a popular five-speed conversion for other classic makes such as MG and Triumph.
The Quickshift shortens the distance between gears thus allowing for faster shifting. The entire construction is steel for ultimate strength in a serious competition environment. It can also be fitted to road cars – but audible vibrations will be transmitted through the lever at certain revs.
This should be taken into account if intended for everyday road use.
