Three initial vehicles will be placed in service from June 27, within the framework of a two-year partnership between La Poste and Michelin, a first in France and Europe – following partnerships already formed in Asia.

A GREAT BEACH TOWEL I RECKON
Jun 29th
I do like a nice drying towel. I truly believe they make a huge difference when washing a car. I’ve tried loads of them and believe me most of them are truly garbage. There are some good ones though and my hitherto two go-tos have been Car Pro’s Boa Constrictor XL and Chemical Guys’ Woolly Mammoth. Excellent.
However, when someone recommended Meguiar’s new Duo Twist drying towel I had to give it a go as they were raving about it. A decent size at 50cm x 90cm this 1200gsm marvel is produced from 87 per cent polyester and 13 per cent More >

FOR ‘FLUX’ SAKE – BEER, FAGS AND OPPOSITE LOCK – AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF IAN FLUX
Back in the eighties when I was really into Formula Ford, Sports 2000 and club motorsport in general (let’s not forget the Kit Cars & Specials Kit Car Challenge!) there were some drivers I avidly followed and most of them were proper old school. They’d turn up and drive anything.
I was really into Dave Coyne, Tommy Byrne (a genius), a young Martin Brundle (when he was in F3 and competing tooth and nail with a young Brazilian hotshot called Ayrton Senna de Silva). However, they all paled More >
IT’S GOOD THIS

Now here is a treat for your ears from a pair of petrolheads based in the UK.
My Dad’s Car is a trip down memory lane, recalling vehicles from yesteryear with a selected guest who may or may not choose to cite their father’s choice of wheels for the benefit of the tape.
In the interest of representation, mothers, aunts, siblings, grandparents, friends and neighbours’ cars are all equally welcome as conversation starters too.
Created by Andy Gregory and Jon Recknell, the duo are ex-colleagues from a car and cycling accessories shop who have since forged individual careers for themselves in automotive marketing, More >
DURATEC PILES ON THE CARBS
Jun 22nd
Over the years it has become apparent that the fitment of 45DCOE carburettors to certain newer types of engines (such as Ford Zetec and Duratec) will result in a flat spot just off idle that no amount of calibration will eradicate.
Webcon has studied this characteristic in detail and has developed a very specific procedure to modify three or four progression hole models to five progression holes. This delivers the precise extra amount of mixture in the progression phase to overcome this flat-spot resulting in a smoother more progressive transition from idle to main.
Burton Power has announced that it now has More >
